Hebrews 11
A faith filled life brings the most glory to God and results in the greatest reward for you.
Point 1:
Faith filled people believe and act on God’s promises.
📖
“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for and the conviction of things not seen”
- Hebrews 11:1
You can’t be faith filled unless you are Word filled.
Point 2:
Faith filled people take a God inspired risk
None of the people in Hebrews 11 were perfect.
Abraham lied,
Noah got drunk,
Rahab was a prostitute,
Jacob was a deceiver,
David committed adultery and murder.
Point 3:
Faith filled people bring the most glory to God by pleasing God.
📖
“Without faith it is impossible to please Him.”
-Hebrews 11:6
Point 4:
Faith filled people have the greatest reward despite suffering
📖
“He is a rewarder of those who seek Him”
- Hebrews 11:6
Do not compare your faith journey with others. God has a different call for everyone.

1) Jesse said that practically, to grow in your faith, you need to surround yourself with believers who live by faith. Who are the people that are surrounding you, who life by faith, and are there any changes you need to make in your friendships?
2) Jesse mentioned that just saying you believe without having actions to follow is not true faith. Why do actions need to follow faith? See James 2:14-26.
3) Why is it hard to live by faith?
4) 1 Cor 7:14 says, "Only let each person lead the life that the Lord has assigned to him, and to which God has called him." Why is it important not to compare how God has called you to live by faith, with another person’s calling that may look different?
