The Word (Upward)
The Word of God is our "spiritual constitution," by which we evaluate every step of our individual and congregational life. As directed by God, we gather together in unity for praise, prayer, and worship to our Heavenly Father. (Psalm 1:3; Psalm 119:105, Psalm 150; Psalm 147:1; Acts 1:14; Acts 2:46-47)

The Wisdom (Downward)
Proverbs 4:7 tells us, "Wisdom is the principal thing. Therefore get wisdom, and in all your getting, get understanding." God's wisdom is what we seek. At Coastal Christian, we teach God's Holy Scriptures verse-by-verse in order to educate and equip every believer for service to God and for service within the church body. (2 Tim. 3:16-17; Acts 20:27)

The Believer (Inward)
We are committed to encourage and inspire one another to take further steps toward the plan and purpose of God for our lives. The scriptures place great emphasis on deepening relationships within the family of believers. We seek to create opportunities to show God's love by proactively engaging one another throughout the course of our daily lives. (Phil. 1:6; Phil 2:1-4)

The People (Outward)
Jesus said, "If any one hears my voice..." "If any one is thirsty..." "If any one believes..." Coastal Christian values the worth of every individual as brothers and sisters in the Kingdom of God. Even those far from God are seen as potential sons and daughters of a loving Heavenly Father. The final call of Christ to His followers was to reach beyond our faith community to share God's perspective with the world. We believe in responding locally as well as globally to reveal God's love for the world. (John 3:16; Matt. 28:19, 20; 1 Cor. 9:22)
