Coastal Christian | Answering the Call | Isaiah 6:1-8 | Jesse Stokes
1- Jesse mentioned that the holiness of God (Holy means set apart and moral perfection) is the most commonly referred to attribute of God (used over 600 times in the Bible). Why do you think the holiness of God is so foundational to Christianity? And why is it not spoken about much in today’s society?
2- Isaiah, after experiencing the forgiveness of his sin and love of God, answered to the call to "go" and serve God. Why is it important for the love and grace of God to be the motivation for answering God's call? What are other motivations, both positive and negative, that motivate people to serve God?
3- Jesse mentioned that the three commitments to living a life with mission and purpose are:
1 - commit to personal time with God
2 - commit to Christianity community
3 - commit to outreach
Of these three commitments, what is one that you need to invest more in, personally? What action step are you willing to take this week, to answer the commitment challenge?
